About the location

Lisbon is the second oldest capital in Europe (after Athens!) which makes it rich in culture, history and character. It's a wonderful friendly city which is full of life yet lacks the chaos and hustle & bustle of other capital cities.

A mild pleasant climate, low prices, vibrant nightlife and rich gastronomy are all reasons why Lisbon is one of the best cities in Europe and a must-see.

You'll find this friendly language school in a beautiful historical building in one of Lisbon's most charming and central neighborhoods, just off Saldanha Square. It's a perfect location to learn the Portuguese and explore the city as you're just minutes away from the historical centre, main landmarks and Tagus river.

Founded in 1959, the school has been providing Portuguese language courses for nearly 40 years. During this time, thousands of students from all over the world, and of all different ages, have developed their language skills at this fully accredited school.

Only fully qualified teachers are employed and are all native speakers, hold a university degree and have followed the school's teacher training course. Teaching refresher courses are held regularly to ensure staff up to date with new techniques and materials.

And the hospitality doesn't stop at the teaching. They believe their responsibilities are not confined to the four walls of the classroom and aim to provide students with a full cultural experience, giving you the chance to make the most of your time in Portugal.
