Holiday Itinerary

This Spanish and cooking course is designed to provide an intensive language and cooking experience for those who are looking to develop skills both in the classroom and kitchen.
The Spanish course is 20 hours of group Spanish classes. It is an intensive course for students to learn as much Spanish as possible in a short period of time. Classes are small groups, with an average of 6 people, and cater for all language levels. From complete beginners to advanced speakers, the school can assign you to a group of students with the same Spanish level.
Hands-on cooking classes are taught at a local cooking school just a 30 minute walk (or via public transport) from the language school and you will be taught by professional chefs in a professional kitchen.

Students will have two group cooking classes where you will learn to make some classic Spanish cuisine including tapas, paella, as well as international cuisine. At the end of each lesson, you will sit down to enjoy the food you have prepared with a glass of wine and have the chance to improve your Spanish language skills as you chat over dinner or lunch - a perfect addition for a language holiday.
By all means, be sure to ask your teachers for their favourite local restaurants and further explore the best places in the city during your free time!
- Spanish classes are suitable for all levels from complete beginner to advanced
- All cooking experiences and levels are welcome
- Minimum age 16 with no upper age limit

Who are our guests?
- People come from all over the world and you’ll never be placed in a class with just English speakers so that you use the language you are learning rather than resorting to chatting in English
- Ages vary, but the typical language learner falls into the 20-60 age bracket though we have no age limit and we’ve had guests in their 70s and 80s studying languages with us
- During the summer and in university holiday times the average age typically drops and there are many guests in their 20s
- Over 90% of our language learners travel solo and every school organises social and cultural activities to help you get to know others at the school outside of class
- Of course, everyone shares a passion or interest in discovering a new language and culture

Travelling solo?
- No problem, you will make friends in both the group Spanish classes and during your cooking classes
- The language school also organises 4 social and cultural activities per week which are a great way to meet other students at the school
- Most of the participants in the course travel by themselves, this is a great holiday for solo travellers!
