Holiday Itinerary

This fantastic painting holiday is geared towards every artist, from those at the very beginning to the more advanced painter looking for new inspiration. You’ll be encouraged to try new skills and mediums, and to focus on new areas, whether it be a new medium, some local characters, architecture, or natural beauty, all of which are abundant in Lefkara.

You won’t need to think about where to find your next subject, as you will be taken to a new location daily to soak up sun and new ideas. As well as the opportunity to paint ‘en-plein air’, you will have a art studio at your disposal throughout your entire stay just over the road from your accommodation. You’ll be free to come and go as you please to making those final touches or get creative when the mood takes you.

You will be joined by two local artists, Anna and Georgina, who have been practicing and refining their art for years, and are always on hand for 1 on 1 guidance or to help you produce art in a new form. Loving a range of mediums, they'll help you explore everything from pencil to oil, and help you find the best medium for you. You can read more about their work and experience below.

Each morning, after a lovely breakfast, you will head to the studio to discuss the day ahead. You will then be taken to a new location as you prepare to paint ‘en plein air’ using different aspects of the beautiful island for inspiration. While out, you will enjoy either a picnic on site, or head to a local taverna and have lunch with the locals. Each day will bring new places and experiences, sights, tastes, sounds and smells, and it will be your choice what to capture whilst in this slice of heaven.

Your home, during this once in a lifetime holiday, will be in the converted monastery, which is now a 7 room boutique bed and breakfast that caters to creative minds. Don’t miss out on the 10th century chapel still within its walls, or sit in the garden with some local wine to contemplate how to spend your evening. Head to the studio after a 3 course dinner to finish a day’s work, or walk the cobbled alleys to a local taverna to have a few drinks to with the friendly locals and make some new friends.

Take a break from your average holiday, tune into your inner painter, and discover the beauty of old Cyprus. Leave refreshed with a new outlook and perspective, new friends, and a wealth of history, culture, regional foods and wine.
