This PADI open water diving course is ideal for those who are looking to take their scuba diving skills to the next level and learn all the necessary diving skills to become fully autonomous.
Your experienced PADI certified instructors will introduce you to both the theoretical and practical aspects of scuba diving teaching you how to plan and go diving with a buddy to depths of up to 18 meters.

- You must be able to swim
Important Medical Information
- You must have a valid medical report; we recommend you check with your doctor that you are fit to scuba dive before booking to avoid cancellation charges
- Please note that you will be required to complete an RSTC medical form to ensure you are of sound health before taking the course; details of how to download this form will be printed on your booking voucher
Class Start Days
- Classes run daily all year round
Class Schedule
- Your daily schedule will start at 9am
- You will have around 8 hours of tuition each day
What will I be doing?
- Learning about scuba diving safety issues
- You will receive theory lectures on 5 different modules in order to achieve your PADI certificate
- Practical diving exercises in confined open water
- You will travel by jeep to nearby dive sites where you will perform at least 4 open water dives up to depths of 18 meters
Qualification
- On successful completion of this course, you will receive your first PADI open water dive certification
- Children 12-14 years of age will receive a PADI Junior open water dive certification
- This will allow you to dive up to 18 metres
Weather Conditions
- For safety reasons, courses will be completed in sheltered areas of the dive centre in the event of bad weather
Compulsory Extras
- Please note you will be required to pay for a course manual (approximately €30) and examination (approximately €30) in order to gain your PADI certification, they can both be paid in full on arrival at the school
